Cat's dam is our mare Cats Magic Lady!

I just love this mare's dam so when I found Cat for sale a year ago (Jan 2007), I was really excited.  It seemed like things were not to be when the hauler went to pick her up and said he could not haul her because she was too thin.  I didn't have the money to risk and didn't know anyone where she was so I stopped my payment and tried to forget about her.  I couldn't.

In March 2008 I got notice that her owner was having trouble and getting rid of some horses.  Cat was not in that group chosen to be "donated" but with the help of one of Cat's previous owners, I was able to get her released.  It took an angel that I met on the website Barrelhorseworld.com to get Cat out of there and rehabbed enough to make her trip home to South Dakota.

She is getting stronger and fatter everyday and I am soooo happy to have her home FINALLY!

Cat is so sweet.  She is one that comes from the back of the pasture to meet you.  She loves her treats!  She sure is a hard one to get a picture of.  She either has her head down eating or is right there wanting petted!
